Older children will enjoy reading Harolds story for themselves. Children will learn the value of friendship, and of being able to face the thing you fear. Harold becomes friends with Krystal, a human girl, who is teased by the other children for her ability to talk with animals. When a lightning storm creates a fire that rages through Krystals village, Harold is able to overcome his fear of the flames to help save his friends village.About the AuthorJeff has most recently had a screenplay reach the quarterfinals of the prestigious Nichols Fellowship. In addition to the attention given to his screenplays, Jeff has Published two books Sagacity and Abiding Hope. Paz is an awardwinning artist whose work for 'The Dragon Who Feared Fire' marks his first effort as a book Illustrator. However Paz has won many awards for his artwork Including Best of show in the Beverly Hills Affair in the Gardens art show in 2007, second place in 2012, The Emerging young artist award in 2003 and many more.
