I got this for my daughter who just started drumming, and it’s been perfect! The explanations are clear and the variety of styles covered is impressive. She loves using the online audio to practice along with the book. Highly recommend for new drummers!

Good, but Needs More Detail
This book has a solid overview of various musical styles. I was hoping for a bit more depth in each section though. The online audio is nice, but sometimes it doesn't match up perfectly with the exercises in the book. Still, it's a decent resource overall.

Not What I Expected
I bought this encyclopedia thinking it would be a comprehensive guide for advanced drumming techniques. It’s really more for beginners and lacks in-depth analysis. The online audio is alright but could definitely be better. Disappointed overall.
