To kill Akari, Menou scours the outer reaches of the West in search of a legendary blade that turns all it touches into salt. Meanwhile, the one of the Four Great Calamities begins to unfold in the undeveloped regions of the East and slowly inches toward them, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake...

I just finished Vol. 3 of 'The Executioner and Her Way of Life' and it was fantastic! The story just keeps getting better, and I really loved the new settings introduced in 'The Cage of Iron Sand.' Can't wait for the next volume!

Disappointed with this volume
Unfortunately, this third installment didn’t live up to my expectations. The pacing felt off, and I was really hoping for more action. I had loved the first two volumes, but I found myself bored at times. Not my favorite in the series.

Interesting plot but a bit slow
This volume had some great moments, but I felt it dragged a little in parts. The character development is still strong, and I appreciate how the world-building continues. Overall, it’s still a decent read for fans of the series!
