I enjoyed parts of The Face of Deception, but I had some issues with the pacing. A few chapters felt like filler, which slowed down my reading. Still, the main plot was engaging enough to keep me interested. Just not my favorite in the genre.

Compelling but Slow in Parts
The story of Eve Duncan is captivating, but I felt some parts dragged on a bit too long. The character depth is impressive, but I wanted the pacing to be faster. Overall, it's worth it for fans of mystery novels. Just need a little patience!
