About the Author A native and lifelong resident of Oregon, Deb Mohr studied anthropology and Russian culture at the University of Oregon.In 2012 Mohr won the National Gold Award in feature writing from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education for her essay entitled 'Cross Burning at Gamma Phi Beta.' She is the recipient of other national awards from the Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society, the Dana Award, and the William Van Wert fiction competition.Mohr is married and has two grown daughters.
