I bought this edition of The Prologue and Tale for my literature class, and it has been so helpful. The annotations make Chaucer's language a lot more understandable for students. Plus, the formatting is really nice, making it easy to read. Definitely worth it if you're diving into medieval literature!

Not impressed with the quality
I was disappointed when my copy of The Prologue and Tale arrived. The cover was bent and the pages felt cheap. Maybe it was just a bad batch? The content is solid, but the physical book left a lot to be desired. I expected better for the price!

Good but not what I expected
I got this book thinking it would have more context surrounding Chaucer's life. While the text itself is great, I felt like there could've been more in-depth commentary. It's good for basic understanding, but I was hoping for a bit more depth.
