I was really looking forward to reading this book, but it arrived with some pages crumpled and a few marks on the cover. The story itself is powerful, but the condition it came in left me a bit frustrated. I hope the next one is better!

Inspiring Story That Hits Home
I bought this book to share with my daughter, and it really resonated with us. Maria Pepe's journey in Little League is so inspiring, and the way the story unfolds kept us both engaged. We even had some great discussions about equality in sports after reading it!

Great Read, But a Bit Short
The story of Maria Pepe is important, and the way it’s told is nice. I just felt it could have been a bit longer or more detailed. It’s a great introduction to the topic for kids, but I would have loved more background on her experiences. Still, it’s a solid read!
