Christina Wilson was a personal property appraiser specializing in West Indian antiques and the manager of an auction house for eighteen years on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Her first work, King Christian's An Illusive Paradise, is a fictitious account of the vagaries of life there and sets the stage for her two main characters who continue their adventures in England in The Golden Scorpion. Wilson has traveled extensively and lived in England, Scotland, and Denmark prior to settling on St. Croix. She is semiretired and now lives and writes in Fairfax, California.
