Christine Bennett has left the cloistered world of nuns for the profane world of New York State, where murder and madness are often linked. At a town meeting, Christine volunteers to investigate a fortyyearold murder case long since closed. Now shell move heaven and earth to exonerate a pair of retarded savant twins, now senior citizens, of their mothers murder on Good Friday in 1950.

The story had great potential, and I loved the main character, but I felt some parts dragged on a bit. The mystery was good, but it took too long to unfold. Still, I'm glad I read it—just wish it had a snappier pace.

A decent read but not my favorite
While 'The Good Friday Murder' had its moments, I found it a bit predictable. I enjoy a good mystery, but I was hoping for more twists. Christine Bennett's character is charming, though, and some dialogues were fun to read. Not sure if I'll try the next in the series, though.

Intriguing plot with a twist
I picked up 'The Good Friday Murder' for a cozy weekend read, and it didn't disappoint! The mystery unraveled nicely, keeping me guessing until the end. Christine Bennett is such a relatable character, and the setting made it feel immersive. Definitely worth the time!

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, this book didn't meet my expectations. The plot felt disjointed at times, and I was left confused about some story elements. I expected a gripping mystery, but it just didn't capture my interest like I hoped it would.
