In the year 1903, Thomas Cook & Son organized a journey on the ultramodern twinscrew steamer "Moltke", which was chartered from the HamburgAmericaLine. This book features the trip as well as the "Moltke". With the noumerous and rare pictures of the ship and its interior it is a living document of this wonderful and at that time brandnew steamer, which was destroyed in Italy shortly after WW I.
