I liked some parts of 'The Healthy Dead,' especially the witty dialogue, but the pacing felt a bit off. There were sections that dragged on too long for my taste. Still, the world-building was solid and kept me engaged for the most part. Not bad!

Disappointed with this sequel
I really wanted to like 'The Healthy Dead,' but it just fell flat for me. The humor that was so present in the first book was missing here, and I found myself skimming pages. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I expected more from Bauchelain and Broach.
