I just finished 'The Hired Man' and it was such a gripping story! The characters felt so real and the setting was beautifully described. I couldn't put it down, especially the tension that built up in the second half. Definitely worth reading if you enjoy well-crafted novels.

Not My Favorite Read
I was pretty disappointed with 'The Hired Man.' The premise sounded great, but I found myself losing interest halfway through. The characters didn't resonate with me, and I thought the ending was rushed. Maybe others will enjoy it more, but it wasn't for me.

Good Story but Slow at Times
I liked 'The Hired Man,' but I have to admit, some parts dragged a bit for me. The plot was intriguing, especially with the twists, but it took a while to get there. Still, it was worth reading if you have the patience for a slower pace.
