The details and illustrations are captivating, and it's a great reference for anyone interested in how maps shaped our understanding of the world. Just wish it had a few more maps from the Mediterranean region!

Good Content, Slow Shipping
I found the information in this book fascinating and it covers a lot of ground, but I had to wait a week longer than expected for delivery. The packaging was decent, but I was hoping for it to arrive sooner given that it was a gift for my history-loving friend. Still, worth the read once it got here!

Disappointed with the Condition
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a bent cover and some pages were scuffed. The content may be good, but the condition it arrived in was disappointing. I expected better packaging for a book that carries such importance in cartography studies.
