I appreciate the artistry in this box set, but I think the price is a bit steep for what you get. It's a lovely collection, but I wouldn’t suggest it for casual readers. Only for true fans of Tolkien's work.

Beautiful Art but Bulky
The artwork by Alan Lee is incredible, and it's a joy to flip through these pages. However, the box set is a bit bulky to store. I wish the design was a little more compact. Still, it's a great collection to have!

Mixed Feelings, Good But Not Perfect
While the illustrations are beautiful and Alan Lee's work is always amazing, I found some of the pages to be a little wrinkled upon arrival. The packaging could definitely be better. Still, it's a nice addition to my collection.
