This book is a bit of a mixed bag for me. While the theoretical perspectives are fascinating, some essays are quite dense and hard to get through. It’s great for academic purposes but not for casual reading. Still glad I picked it up!

Disappointed honestly. I thought this book would be more accessible, but it’s quite heavy on theory and less on the narrative which I was looking for. If you’re into dense academic texts, you might enjoy it, but it wasn't for me.
