In 1986 General Gogol made a gamble to avoid total nuclear meltdown. Within weeks his secret was being shipped to the Arctic Ocean. Years later, Richard Mariner is commissioned to tow an iceberg to a droughtstricken state unaware of the contamination at its heart. Others are not so ignorant.

I just finished reading 'The Iceberg' from the Richard Mariner series, and wow, what a thrilling ride! The descriptions of the maritime life and challenges faced by the characters are so vivid. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys a good sea adventure. Definitely looking forward to more from this series!

Interesting but dragged a bit
While I enjoyed the storyline of 'The Iceberg,' I felt some parts were a bit slow. The characters were well-developed, and I loved the maritime setting. Just wished it picked up the pace a little more in the middle. Still worth a read if you're into nautical themes.

Not what I expected
I was excited to dive into 'The Iceberg,' but honestly, it didn't grip me like I hoped it would. The plot had potential, yet some twists felt predictable. If you love the ocean setting, it might still be enjoyable, but I was a bit let down.

Great escape to the sea!
'The Iceberg' kept me on the edge of my seat! I loved the rich details about sailing and maritime challenges. Richard Mariner's character is compelling, and I couldn't put it down. A solid addition to my collection for anyone who loves adventure stories!
