This book covers a lot of ground on iris species, and I learned a ton. However, I wish there were more illustrations or photos. It would make the identification process easier and more enjoyable. Still a good reference!

Great Resource for Gardeners
I picked up this book to help with my gardening and it's truly a treasure trove of information about irises. The classification system is detailed but clear. I’ve already used it to enhance my garden planning!

Informative but heavy read
The Iris Family is filled with interesting facts and classification info, but honestly, it can get a bit dense at times. Great for researchers but not as accessible for casual readers. I bought it for my botany class, and it's useful in that context.

Disappointed with the content
I was expecting a more engaging book on irises, but it felt too technical and dry. The information was there, but it just didn’t hold my interest. I probably won't keep it for long, which is a bummer.
