It's March of 2097 when Synchroliner Fusion is deployed in South America, and the worldwide upheaval that rose up in its wake has finally reached Japan. The following month, Tatsuya and Miyuki receive a message from the head of the Juumonji clan, Katsuto. They are both formally invited to a conference of the Eighteen Support Clans over rising hostilities directed at the group, ensuring yet more trouble in Tatsuya's future.

I found some parts of Volume 21 entertaining, especially the prologue, but I had trouble keeping track of all the plot points. It felt like a lot was happening at once. I still enjoy the series, but this volume wasn't my favorite.

Not My Cup of Tea
I was a bit disappointed with this one. The writing felt a bit off compared to earlier volumes, and I didn't connect with the new characters introduced in this arc. Maybe it's just me, but I expected more. I hope the next one improves!
