Minnesota Archive Editions uses digital technology to make longunavailable books once again accessible, and are published unaltered from the original University of Minnesota Press editions.The James Ford Bell Collection of the University of Minnesota library is devoted to rare books, maps, and manuscripts which reflect the history of European exploration and trade from the fifteenth through the eighteenth centuries. In this List of Additions the 1,841 items which have been added to the collection during the period 19601964 are listed and briefly annotated. This collection supplements two previous Lists of Additions and the catalogue, Jesuit Relations and Other Americana in the Library of James F. Bell, all of which have been published by the university of Minnesota Press. About the Author John Parker was curator of the James Ford Bell Collection at the University of Minnesota. He is editor of Merchants and Scholars: Essays in the History of Exploration and Trade (Minnesota, 1965).
