The Jesus Ultimatum is the hope of humanity, the last chance for salvation. Five troubled families in a New York City apartment house have been asked by the Son of God to have greater faith in the Father, who has become disillusioned with the state of affairs on earth. He conveys his ultimatum via letters delivered by Francis, the mailman who is working through a divorce and an identity crisis. There is a problem: God the Father, though he never stops loving, is losing his own faith in mankind. When each of the five families reject the divine gift, God threatens to usher in the Apocalypse. Protesting their capacity to follow in the faithful footsteps of Abraham, Francis now carries the burden of trying to convince the Father to stay his hand. In the process of doing this, a remarkable thing happens to the families and God, forever changing the relationship between deity and humanity forever.
