Dr. Robert Wang developed The Jungian Tarot as a “visual gateway into the complexities of Jungian psychology to aid in the process of active imagination proposed by Carl Jung. The 22 Major Arcana represent Jungian archetypes of the collective unconscious. The figures are visually presented with archways and circular mandalas, which aid in meditation. The court cards depict family roles: father, mother, daughter and son. The deck is a companion to the Jungian Tarot Trilogy by Robert Wang.

I bought The Jungian Tarot for my sister who’s just getting into tarot. The cards have such a rich symbolism, and the artwork is stunning! She’s been using them every day and loves how they connect with her intuitively. Makes readings so much more meaningful!

Cards arrived with minor damage
Unfortunately, my set of The Jungian Tarot came with a dented corner on one card. The imagery is beautiful, and I was excited to start using them, but that flaw was disappointing. A bit more care in packaging would have made a difference.

Beautiful but a bit tricky to interpret
The Jungian Tarot is visually gorgeous, but I found some of the concepts quite complex. As someone new to tarot, I struggled with a few cards, especially those with deep psychological themes. However, I appreciate the depth they bring to readings once I get the hang of them!
