Out of the flames is born terrifying being with monstrous powersTaws, messenger of the firegod Ashar. The ancient prophecies say he will raise a great Horde from the warlike tribes of the north to bring destruction to the peaceful Kingdoms of Tamur, UstGalich, and Kesh.In the south, a young prophetess of the order of the lady forsakes her vows of celibacy to bear a child, for the Book of Kyrie says that a champion will arise from Tamur to meet the challenge of the Usurper. The boy is named Kedyrn. And as he nears manhood it seems that he may indeed be the child of prophecy, for he wields powers that none outside the Sisterhood have ever claimed. The buildup was great, but the ending left me confused. Too many loose ends that weren't tied up. I was really hoping for a stronger conclusion. Wouldn't recommend if you like closure.

A Solid Read, But Some Pacing Issues
'The Book of the Kingdoms' has some great moments, but I felt like the middle dragged on a bit. Still, the plot twists kept me coming back for more and I enjoyed the character development.

Engaging Fantasy Adventure!
Just finished 'Wrath of Ashar' and it blew me away! The world-building is so vivid, and the characters feel real. It's a must-read for any fantasy lover looking for epic tales.

Not What I Expected
I was excited to read this book, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The cover is stunning, but some plot points felt rushed. It was still an okay read, just not my favorite.
