I got this book expecting a straightforward guide, but it’s much more academic than I anticipated. The surveys are detailed, which is great for research, but if you're just looking to pick up everyday Korean, you might find it a bit heavy. Still, it's well-written!

Disappointing quality for the price
I was excited about this book but was let down when it arrived. The print quality is not great, and some pages were slightly bent. It’s a useful content-wise, but I expected better for what I paid. Hopefully, they can improve the printing for future editions!
