I enjoyed the themes in both stories, but some parts dragged on. Stoker's style can be a bit dense. Still, I appreciate the depth of characters and the rich atmosphere he creates, especially in ‘The Lair of the White Worm’. Just be ready for a slower pace!

Interesting but a bit slow

Not my favorite Stoker work
Honestly, I expected more from this collection. The plots were intriguing, but I found them hard to follow at times. The twist in ‘The Lady of the Shroud’ was clever, but it didn’t grip me like his other novels. I think I'll stick to ‘Dracula’ next time.

A great addition to my collection
As a fan of Stoker, adding this book was a no-brainer! The blend of horror and mystery in ‘The Lair of the White Worm’ is captivating, and I loved the historical context in ‘The Lady of the Shroud’. Perfect for a cozy evening read!
