In olden times our people gathered around lodge fires to listen to Storyteller; fascinated by his tales, we learned our way of life. Religion, legends, philosophy, ethics what today we learn from books and in school, we learned from Storyteller's lips. The tradition has been lost in the changing way of life but the desire for storytelling remains. In writing of bygone days we attempt in a small way to keep this wonderful tradition alive. The Lone Wolf Clan is a story the whole family can enjoy. It is a tale of lives told in the tradition of Storyteller, to entertain, at the same time to pass along bits of history, wit and wisdom. Drama, humor, tragedy, love, hate all ingredients that are part of living are present, set against the backdrop of days when fur trappers and Indian people first met and attempted to coexist a period of our history that makes one cringe, cry and laugh.
