Reading S.C. Freiberger's The Long Hall is an eyeopening experience. It's faith building, sobering and profound. Mike E. wrote: "I enjoyed this book very much. It certainly reminded me of CS's books so if you liked his books I am sure you will like SC's first one. The storyline in this book is compelling and it has a great twist at the end. The journey that is taken in the book is very well thought out and is split into lots of moderately short chapters that I considered to be exactly the right length with each one exploring a new topic. This was a great way to explore the many different ideas raised by the book and to learn more, either as a Christian or a nonChristian. I think the ideas in this book will stay with me for a long time and as such I am sure this book will be a lifechanger."The Long Hall is a fascinating and bizarre tale of a young man's journey to Hades, a high school where students are taught the tactics of demons. Interwoven within the tale are discussions about Creation, evolution, the big bang, racism, abortion, history, feminism, physics, philosophy and religion. Nothing is offlimits.Jasmine Hass wrote: "This book is excellent. The story was vivid and kept me on the edge of my seat; I had a hard time putting this one down." J.M. Myrick wroteThe Long Hall is "a journey reminiscent of a Charles Dickens Novel."Like C. S. Lewiss The Screwtape Letters, The Long Hall explores the tactics demons use but it ultimately challenges and strengthens the reader's faith. It is imaginative, powerful and inspiring, a uniquely captivating book.
