While I appreciated the beautiful prose, I found some parts a bit hard to follow. It’s definitely a book that requires your full attention. If you’re willing to stick with it, there's a lot to appreciate, but it’s not a light read!

Disappointing Plot Twists
Unfortunately, 'The Loss of the Culion' didn’t live up to my expectations. The plot twists felt forced and didn’t make sense with the overall narrative. I had a hard time staying engaged through the second half, which is a bummer.
