I really wanted to love this book, but it just didn't deliver for me. The plot felt disjointed at times, and I was left confused about some of the characters' motivations. Maybe I just had high expectations based on the blurb. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me.

Interesting but a Bit Slow
This novel had a compelling premise, but I felt it dragged a bit in the middle. Elizabeth's journey is intriguing, but some parts felt like they could've been trimmed down. Still, I enjoyed the ending and how it all wrapped up. Worth a read if you like historical fiction.

A Journey Worth Taking
I just finished reading 'The Lost Book of Elizabeth Barton' and wow, what a ride! The storytelling is immersive, and I found myself lost in the world of Elizabeth. The character development was top-notch, and I genuinely cared about what happened to her. Can't wait to see what else this author comes up with!
