I was really excited to read this light novel, but I was disappointed. The storyline felt disjointed at times and some of the characters didn’t resonate with me. I had also hoped for more action based on the description, but it was more of a setup for future volumes. Maybe it gets better, but I’m not sure I'll continue.

Interesting concept but a bit slow
The premise of this light novel is intriguing, but I found the pacing a bit slow in the first half. The magical elements are well thought out, but it took a while for the plot to pick up. Still, I enjoyed the characters and their development. I’m hoping the next volume picks up the pace!

A compelling fantasy read!
I just finished Volume 1 of 'The Magic In This Other World Is Too Far Behind', and I really loved the story! The characters are relatable, and the world-building is fantastic. The blend of magic and adventure kept me hooked throughout. Can't wait for the next volume!
