Spirits are on the move in Pauline Melvilles fabulous short story collection. A South American president revisits the scenes of his ruthless rise to powershortly after his own funeral. A transformed and sparkling city of London sets the scene for a company chairmans nemesis at the hands of his wife. In Andalucia, the spirit of the duende inspires an elderly widow to dance a deathdefying flamenco. We meet splendacious Mrs. da Silva, sixtyfive year old matriarch of Rebel War Band, as she boogies at a carnival. The ghost of Dantes Virgil, leading his pilgrim along perilous paths, is brought to mind as one friend guides another on her final journey.

I absolutely loved 'The Migration of Ghosts'! The way it blends the supernatural with emotional depth is just incredible. I couldn't put it down and finished it in just two days. If you're into ghost stories that really tug at your heartstrings, this one's for you!

Interesting but Lacks Depth
The Migration of Ghosts had some interesting concepts, but I felt like the characters could have been developed more. The story was engaging, yet I expected a bit more from the plot twists. It’s a decent read, just not as riveting as I hoped.

A Unique Take on Ghosts
This book offers a refreshing perspective on ghosts and their stories. The writing style is poetic and evocative, making it a pleasure to read. I enjoyed how it intertwined different cultures around the concept of ghosts. Would definitely recommend to others!

Disappointed with the Ending
I had high hopes for 'The Migration of Ghosts' but ended up pretty let down. The buildup was solid, but the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. I wish there had been more resolution. Not a bad book, just not what I wanted.
