James Moffatt (18701944) was born and educated in Glasgow, Scotland. He entered the ministry and then became Professor of Greek and New Testament Exegesis at Mansfield College, Oxford in 1911. He returned to Glasgow in 1915 as Professor of Church History at the United Free Church College. From 19271939 he was Washburn Professor of Church History, Union Theological Seminary, New York. He died in New York in 1944.June 2017 Reformatted for even larger print and clearer fonts.

Large print is a blessing!

Good but not what I expected
This large print edition is nice, but I thought it would have more commentary or notes. The translation is great, but it would be even better with additional insights. Still, it’s a solid choice for anyone needing an easy-to-read Bible.

Well-made but arrived late
I really like the layout and font size of this translation, but I did have issues with delivery. It took longer than expected to arrive, which was frustrating. The print quality is fantastic though, so I’m happy with the product itself.
