Todays middleaged people just dont act middleaged. With their extreme sports and their adventure holidays, they refuse to grow old. Or even grow up. And they love music too; going to see it, buying it and of course playing it. Written by a longtime musician and music journalist, this informed yet witty book will be an essential read for those thousands of older musicians. Whether returning to music after kids and jobs or continuing a lifelong love affair, this is the book theyre been waiting for. Hope I die before I get old? Not a chance.

I picked up this handbook expecting more insights into the music industry, but while it has some useful info, I felt it skimmed over many topics. Still, it’s a decent read for musicians looking to reconnect with their passion. Just didn’t fully meet my expectations.

Disappointing Quality
I was really looking forward to this handbook, but when it arrived, the pages were all wrinkled and some were even dog-eared. The content seemed okay, but the presentation was a letdown. I expected better for the price.

Essential Read for Aging Musicians
As a longtime musician, I found this handbook to be a great resource. It covers everything from technique to health tips for us older rockers. The advice is practical and really resonates with our experiences. Definitely worth having on your shelf if you're still jamming!
