The Oresteia is such a mesmerizing piece! I loved the depth of Agamemnon's character and how it explores themes of justice. The way women's roles are depicted at the graveside really struck a chord with me. Definitely a must-read for anyone interested in classic literature.

A Masterpiece of Tragedy
I was blown away by the beauty of The Oresteia! The interplay of fate and free will is so well done, especially in Agamemnon. The scenes at the graveside are haunting. This will be a book I come back to again and again.

Interesting but Dense
I found The Oresteia to be quite intriguing, but it took some effort to get through the complex language. The parts involving Orestes in Athens were particularly engaging, though. Just be prepared to really focus while reading this one!

Not My Favorite Classic
While I appreciate the historical significance of The Oresteia, I found it hard to connect with the characters. The themes are powerful, especially around women's grief, but I expected more action. It’s definitely not for everyone.
