Brief histories of Birge's Western Sharpshooters (14th Mo. Inf./66th Il Inf.), Yates Sharpshooters (64th Il Inf.) and Companies A and B, 26th Mo Inf., which comprised the organized sharpshooter units with the Army of the Tennessee during the U.S. Civil War. Rosters studies of members of these units, indexed alphabetically and arranged by unit, state of residence and counties of residence.
