This study regards a moral reasoning strategy as an important tool that should be used to deal with moral problems being faced. In an educational context, it refers to teachers' ability in moral reasoning by utilising some considerations appropriately. The absence of moral reasoning will potentially lead to moral failures, i.e. failing to consider something that should be considered and failing to provide adequate considerations. Understanding the importance of the moral reasoning strategy, this study tries to investigate the influence of an ethical reasoning strategy, namely the PAVE (Principles, Agreements, Virtues, and End Consequences) Moral Reasoning Strategy (Henderson, 2005), on teachers' moral reasoning. The research objectives are to identify teachers' reasoning strategies in moral reasoning before and after being supplied with information about the strategy, to identify the influence of the strategy on the teachers' moral reasoning, and to recognise the usefulness of the strategy from the teachers' perspectives. Employing qualitative research methods, the study shows a positive influence of the strategy on the teachers' moral reasoning.
