"The Power of Our Words" is an amazing resource for teachers looking to improve their classroom communication. I found the practical strategies very helpful, and the examples are easy to relate to. This second edition really updates the concepts beautifully!

Interesting concepts, but hard to implement
I think the ideas in this book are great, but applying them in real classroom settings has proven challenging for me. It’s a bit theoretical and not always practical. Still, worth a read if you're into educational psychology.

Disappointing compared to the first edition
I loved the first edition, but this one didn’t live up to my expectations. The content feels diluted and lacks the depth I was hoping for. I was a bit let down, to be honest.

Great insights but a bit repetitive
I enjoyed many parts of the book, especially the insights on language impact. However, some sections felt a bit repetitive for my taste. Overall, it's a solid read for those in education, just know it may drag in a few areas.

Transformative ideas for communication
This book has transformed how I speak to my students! The focus on language and its effects is eye-opening. I’m using what I learned daily in my teaching practices. Highly recommended for new and experienced teachers alike!
