Product Description Climbing aboard a floating boxcar, The Princess and the Piglet is an adventurous story about two sisters testing carbon around the world. Traveling along the 45th parallel through the United States, Europe and China, the pair is swept off course. From there, a chance encounter with a Tibetan monk makes them change the way they view the world. About the Author Benjamin Patrick Curley received his Bachelor of Science from the Evergreen State College. This knowledge combined with growing up on a farm has inspired many sustainable life practices. Owning and operating a 3rd generation Landscape business, Curley's Landscape restores damaged ecosystems, creates bird sanctuary parks, and has maintenance programs free of pesticides. His backyard plant nursery is home to thousands of native plants that would have been bulldozed or thrown away. Some of these issues are discussed in his first book, Curley's Tales of Truth. Visit CurleysTales.com to order either copy. This story was inspired by Patrick Curley, the author's dad. Each morning he would come in and greet the author's dogs, which he called the Princess and the Piglet. The remodeled barn the author shares with his wife Mary, is reminiscent of a castle. The character Schmeed is modeled after a dear friend who was always willing to lend a hand.
