This mornings subject is The Pruning Shears of Revision. I firmly believe that if you will wisely and daily use the pruning shears of revision that you will find there is no objective beyond your ability to realize. And I mean that seriously, no objective beyond your ability to realize.

This book was just what I needed! The author provides practical tips that resonate and really work. I’ve noticed I’m more aware of my negative thoughts now and can challenge them. Highly recommend it for anyone struggling with self-doubt.

A fresh perspective on editing thoughts
I never thought a book could help me with negative thinking, but this one really does! The way it breaks down the process of 'editing' your thoughts is so relatable. The practical exercises are easy to follow, and I found myself reflecting on my mindset a lot more. Definitely worth a read!

Difficult to connect with
Honestly, I didn’t find the book very helpful. The concept was intriguing, but I struggled with the writing style. I think it could benefit from clearer examples or more straightforward advice. Didn’t resonate with me like I hoped it would.

Not what I expected
I thought this book would be more straightforward, but the metaphor can be a bit confusing at times. It has good ideas, but I found myself backtracking a lot to grasp the points. It’s useful, just take your time with it!

Interesting concept, but a bit repetitive
I liked the idea of using pruning shears as a metaphor for mental clarity, but some parts felt a bit dragged out. There are great insights here, though, and I did enjoy some of the exercises. Just could've been more concise.
