I ordered this thinking it would be more about the novels of Austen rather than a historical analysis. It arrived in a slightly battered condition, too, which was disappointing. I'll finish it, but it's not quite what I was hoping for.

Interesting, but a bit dense
I found 'The Regency Revolution' to be packed with info, which was great but sometimes overwhelming. The writing style felt a bit heavy at points, making it tough to get through. Still, the insights on Austen and Byron were worth it!
