Unfortunately, my copy of this book arrived with a damaged cover. The stories are great, but I’m not happy about the packaging and delivery issues. I expected better care when ordering.

Heartwarming Stories!
I bought this for my grandfather who served in the war, and it really resonated with him. He loved the emotional stories of restoration and the personal connections to history. A great gift for any history enthusiast!

Interesting, but a bit slow
The restorations featured in this book are fascinating, but I found some parts dragged on. It took a while to get through, but I did appreciate the depth of the stories. If you're a WWII buff, you may find it more engaging than I did.

A Truly Moving Read
I really enjoyed this book! The stories behind the WWII restorations were so heartwarming and brought a tear to my eye. It's a unique take on history that makes you appreciate the little things. Definitely worth the read if you love history and personal stories.

Beautiful but flawed book
This book is beautifully illustrated, but I was a little disappointed by the lack of variety in the stories. Some restorations felt repetitive. Still, it’s a nice coffee table book that sparks great conversations.
