I liked 'Following Europe's Greatest River' quite a lot, but I wish there were more maps included. The narrative is engaging and informative, but having a visual guide would really enhance the experience. Still, it’s a decent read if you love travel books.

Fascinating facts and stories
This book is a treasure trove of history and culture related to the Rhine. I loved how it wove personal stories with historical facts. It makes me want to visit every place mentioned! Just wish it had a few more photographs, but it's still a solid read.

Not what I expected
I thought this would be more of a travel guide, but it's really more like a narrative history. While some parts are interesting, it didn't meet my expectations for practical travel info. I enjoyed parts of it, but I wouldn't call it a must-have for travelers.
