This cute little rhyme will put a smile on the face of the little ones and their special grownups when they find out just how the royal dog solves the mail delivery dilemma for the queen (spoil alert he will use the services of the royal snail). The story was inspired by a Christmas package I sent to my brilliant editor Leonora during the 2018 holiday season. Anxious for Leonora to receive the box of goodies, I have started every morning of December by tracking the parcels until it finally reached my editor a week and a half later. To that Leonora suggested that they must as well have strapped the package to the back of the snail as it surely doesn't take that long to transport a small parcel between Warwickshire and Surrey. And that's how the story was born...
