What would you risk to be free? Its 1776 and Isabel, Curzon, and Ruth have only ever known life as slaves. But now the young country of America is in turmoilthere are whisperings, then cries, of freedom from England spreading like fire, and with it is a whole new type of danger. For freedom being fought for one isnt necessarily freedom being fought for allespecially if you are a slave. But if an entire nation can seek its freedom, why cant they? As war breaks out, sides must be chosen, death is at every turn, and one question forever rings in their ears: Would you risk everything to be free? As battles rage up and down the Eastern seaboard, Isabel, Curzon, and Ruth flee, separate, fight, face unparalleled heartbreak and, just like war, they must depend on their alliesand each otherif they are to survive. Which leads to a second, harrowing question: Amidst so much pain and destruction, can they even recognize who their allies are?

This trilogy box set is perfect for anyone who loves historical fiction! The way it explores the themes of chains and forge throughout American history is well done. The hardcover box is nice too, it looks great on my bookshelf!

Great collection but one book fell flat
I really enjoyed the first two books in the Seeds of America series, but the third one just didn't hit the mark for me. The themes of chains and forge were powerful, but the pacing slowed down way too much. Still, it's a solid set overall.

Packaging could use some work
I ordered this trilogy boxed set and while the content is fantastic, the packaging arrived a bit damaged. Not what I expected for a gift. The stories themselves are very engaging though!

Engaging from start to finish!
I bought the Seeds of America trilogy for my daughter, and she couldn't put it down! The stories of chains and forge really captivated her. The box set presentation is beautiful too, making it a great gift for any young reader!

Disappointed with quality
I was excited to gift the Seeds of America trilogy, but the print quality was subpar. Some pages had smudges, making it hard to enjoy the reading experience. Not worth the price for me!
