I've been using The Serious Jazz Practice Book for a few weeks now, and it's a solid guide for anyone looking to elevate their jazz skills. The melodic materials are unique and really push you to think outside the box. The CD included is a nice touch, helping me apply what I learn in real-time!

Mixed feelings about the book
The book has some fantastic exercises, but I found the layout a bit cluttered. It took me some time to find the sections I wanted. The CD is helpful, but I wish there were more tracks to play along with. Still, if you're serious about jazz, it's worth a look.
