Honestly, I struggled to get through 'The Silent Period'. The plot felt disjointed and I found myself confused more often than not. I expected more depth but it just didn't resonate with me. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time on this one.

I wanted to love 'The Silent Period' because the premise sounded intriguing. However, I felt that the pacing was a bit slow at times and some sections dragged on. Still, there were moments of brilliance that shone through, so I’d say it’s worth a read if you have the patience.
