About the Author Trish Walsh is a researcher and educator in the School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She is also an independent social worker and trainer/consultant. Her doctoral research was on the introduction of solutionfocused therapy to Irish practitioners, and she has published widely on its use.

This book is a decent introduction to solution-focused practices, but I found it skimpy on some ethical discussions. It’s good for beginners but I wish there were more in-depth case studies to really explore the concepts.
