Disappointed with the quality
I was excited about The Southern Cake Book, but when it arrived, the cover was a bit damaged. Also, some of the recipes require ingredients that are hard to find. It’s okay, but I expected better quality, both in terms of the book and the recipes.

Nice book, but a bit lacking in photos
The Southern Cake Book has some wonderful recipes that I've enjoyed trying out. However, I wish there were more pictures to accompany the instructions. Some cakes can be a bit tricky, and a visual guide would help. Still, it's a solid cookbook!
