As a scholar of the Bible and the Black Church, Brogdon seeks to help young African American preachers effectively integrate biblical studies and homiletics, integrate in ways that deepen sermons, stimulates faith in the context of worship, and strengthen churches as they seek to give witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
