Product Description Fethering's favorite sleuths are at it again. Jude and Carole Seddon find themselves in the midst of some horseplay after stumbling upon the body of exequestrian Walter Fleet at Long Bamber Stables. The police attribute the stabbing death to the mysterious 'Horse Ripper,' who's been mutilating mares across West Sussex and who Walter obviously caught in the act. But considering Walter's reputation out of the saddle, Jude and Carole find that there are plenty of murder suspects, including Walter's putupon wife and more than a few jealous husbands who wanted Walter put out to pasture. About the Author Simon Brett worked as a producer with BBC radio before turning to writing full time. A former president of Britain's Crime Writers Association, he is the creator of the Mrs. Pargeter mysteries and the Charles Paris series as well as the Fethering mysteries. He lives in southern England with his family.Ralph Cosham (19362014), a.k.a. Geoffrey Howard, was a British journalist who changed careers to become a narrator and screen and stage actor. He performed in more than one hundred professional theatrical roles, and several of his narrations were named 'Audio Best of the Year' by Publishers Weekly. In 2013 he won the coveted Audie Award for his narration of Louise Penny's The Beautiful Mystery.
