This dissertation addresses human decision making in justicerelated contexts. Experiments involving second and thirdparty fairness situations as well as consumer psychological contexts show how people care about justice. Further, individual difference measures (justice sensitivity) help to distentangle stable and fragile fairness concerns of individuals. The results shed light on why and when people behave fair and discusses boundary conditions.
